International standards approve the implementation of simultaneous/conference translation by two translators. Physiologically, the process of human concentration is designed in such a way that it lasts for 20-30 minutes, then it drops. That is why lessons at school are structured according to the principle: 15 minutes of theory, 15 minutes of practice, 10 minutes of organizational moments. It’s the same in translation - to maintain a high level of translation quality, two people need to work in shifts.
